Marian have been automating stuff in his home for years, but this year he found a solution to his INTERFACE ISSUES :) Home Assistant is a nice Python based web intrface for different home automation stuff, like sensors, switches, remotes, TVs and so on. In this talk Marian will share with you his experience with Home Assistant and a basic setup. Before and after the talk you will also be able to actually play with it in the lobby.

Marian Marinov is the CEO of 1H ltd. CTO of Kyup.com and Head System Architect at SiteGround.com. He is a system administrator by heart and likes to play with open hardware. In the past few years he has been focused on Linux Containers. In his spare time, he teaches Network Security and SysAdmin courses in the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University and in SoftUni.
